Thinking a broker quote was the real price cost me $400 extra in Tucson
For my first two moves I treated a broker's quote like a final bill, then the driver in Tucson handed me a $400 charge at pickup that wasn't in the email. Turns out I should've called the actual carrier myself and asked what they get paid before signing anything. Anyone else get hit with a fee that only showed up when the truck pulled in?
