Shipped my Civic from Phoenix to Portland and the 2 week wait turned into 5 weeks
Booked the transport back in April with what seemed like a solid broker, quoted 7 to 10 days, and my car sat in a Phoenix lot for 18 days before anyone even picked it up. The dispatch guy kept telling me "any day now" while I'm calling every morning before work, and the whole thing finally wrapped at 5 weeks after I paid $150 extra to bump the pickup. Is there a trick to picking a carrier that actually shows up when they say, or is the quoted timeline just made up every time?
