Pro tip: watch the driver actually load your car before you sign anything
I used to think the inspection sheet was just paperwork, but that changed at the pickup lot off I-80 in Sparks last month. The driver walked the car with me and pointed out two small scratches on the rear bumper that weren't on my original photos, and he wrote them down right there. If I had just handed over the keys and skipped that 10 minute walk-around, I would have eaten the blame for damage I didn't cause. Now I stand there and watch the whole load go on. Anyone else had a driver catch something you missed on your own photos?
