Moved my truck from Dallas to San Diego, one guy quoted $850 and the other $1,900 for the same week
Went with the $850 broker and it actually showed up a day early, no damage, driver even called me 2 hours out. Has anyone else seen quotes swing that much for the same route or was I just lucky?

Curious how you found the $850 guy. Was it a broker or the actual carrier with their own trucks? I ask because a lot of those cheap quotes come from brokers who just post your load on a board and hope somebody picks it up. If nobody bites, they call you back a day later asking for more money. Did the $850 place give you a pickup window and stick to it, or was it all up in the air until the driver actually called?
