Dispatcher in Dallas told me to stop washing my car right before pickup
Shipped a car from Dallas to Phoenix about 3 months ago and the dispatcher asked if I washed it before pickup. I said yeah, of course, and he said don't bother, because the driver wants to see dirt and bug splatter to know what shape it left in. He said clean cars make him nervous because it looks like you're hiding scratches. Now I take photos of the dirty car instead and note the actual marks on the bill of lading. Anyone else hear this from a driver or did I get a weird one?
