Car hauler dropped my sedan in the wrong lot 40 miles from home
Last Tuesday I paid $850 to ship my Camry from Denver to Kansas City, and the driver called me from a truck stop in Topeka saying that was my drop spot. I had a signed paper with the KC address on it, but he said his dispatch routed him another way and wouldn't budge. Ended up paying a buddy $120 in gas to drive me out there at 9pm, and the car had a fresh scuff on the rear bumper that nobody wants to claim. Has this happened to anyone else, and did the broker ever actually pay up for the extra trip?
