Watched a carrier driver in Phoenix shuffle 3 cars off his rig to fit one more, saved the shipper $400
Was grabbing lunch near the yard off Buckeye Rd three weeks ago and this driver spent 20 minutes reparking rather than leaving a slot open. Guy said reshuffling beats a second truck every time on short hauls. Anyone here negotiated a lower rate just by being flexible on pickup day?
