Vent: carrier quoted me $850 to move my Corolla from Phoenix to Denver, then hit me with $1,150 at pickup
Booked 3 weeks out with a broker who promised a firm price, but the driver showed up and said the quote was just a "ballpark" and the real cost was $300 more or he drives off. I paid it because my job started in 2 days, but now I'm wondering if I got played or if this is just how it goes. Has anyone actually gotten a booked quote honored at pickup, and if so who did you use?

Three weeks out is too far, book 5-7 days ahead so they can't pull that.
