Just watched a transport truck driver spend 45 minutes strapping down a Ford F-150 in Dallas
I was parked next to him at a truck stop off I-20 and he checked every strap twice, even got on his back to look under the frame. He told me he's been doing this 11 years and the only car he ever lost was when he rushed a load in the rain back in 2019. Seeing that kind of care makes me wonder how many people actually know what happens to their car between pickup and drop off. Does anyone here ask their driver for updates during the haul or just wait for the call?
