Drove through El Paso and watched three rigs load cars in an hour
I was passing through El Paso last month for a job and ended up eating lunch right next to a big transport lot off I-10. In one hour I saw three different rigs come in, two enclosed and one open, and all of them had their load plans written on paper taped to the dash. Not a single driver used a tablet or app to check anything, they just eyeballed the straps and drove off. Made me wonder if the old paper method is actually more reliable or if these guys are just stuck in their ways. Any other yards out there still running full manual like that?
