Dispatch sent my rig to the wrong terminal, cost me 300 bucks in Houston
Was hauling a sedan from Dallas to a lot off I-10. Followed the paperwork, showed up at the gate, and the guy on the radio said the VIN wasn't on his list. Turned out dispatch typed in the wrong terminal code, mine was 20 miles east. Had to pay a 150 dollar drop fee for the other lot plus fuel to reposition. What do you do when the broker's paperwork is flat out wrong and they won't own it? I'm thinking of adding a terminal verification call before I ever leave the yard now. Anyone else get burned by a bad terminal code?
