Broker in Dallas quoted me $650 then the driver showed up wanting $1,100 cash at pickup
I booked a sedan move from Dallas to Phoenix 3 weeks out and the broker's quote email said $650 all in with no extra fees. The day the driver pulled up to my driveway he said the price on his sheet was $1,100 cash and he wasn't loading the car otherwise, so I called the broker right there in front of him and made them send me a written confirmation of the original price before I handed over the keys. Has this happened to anyone else, and did you get the original number honored or did you have to eat the difference?
