That primer-reducer mix at the swap meet in Dayton changed how I see cheap paint
Honestly I used to think the cheap stuff at swap meets in Dayton was a waste of a Saturday. Last month I watched a guy at a booth mix his own primer and reducer right there in a clear cup, and he poured it slow so the cup showed him the ratio instead of guessing. I always mixed by feel before, and my sealer flashed on me twice last summer because of it. Now I use a clear cup for every batch and it fixed my flash times on three jobs. Has anyone else switched to the cup method or do you still eyeball it?
