Switched to waterborne primer on a Chevy door, now I'm split on going back
Tried Waterborne primer for the first time on a rear door panel last Tuesday here in Phoenix. It laid down smooth and didn't smell half as bad as solvent, but the cure time threw off my whole schedule by about 2 hours. I've been spraying solvent for 8 years so maybe I'm just stuck in my ways, but the finish seemed softer through the weekend. Anyone else made the jump and stuck with it, or did you go back after a few jobs?
