My boss in Spokane always said to let a 2K clear coat flash for a full 15 minutes before the next coat, even if it looks dry, and ignoring that on a 2020 F-150 hood last week caused a solvent pop I had to re-sand.

Honestly, I rushed it because the booth schedule was tight and the surface seemed ready, but those tiny craters meant stripping it back down to primer, so I'm curious if anyone else has a hard rule for flash times with different brands?
