Just realized I've used over 2000 sanding discs on this one restoration project

It's a 1968 Mustang that came in with serious rust issues, and the bodywork just keeps going. Anyone else ever get shocked by how much consumable material a single car can eat through?

Serious rust issues" is an understatement, that's a full time job right there.

Tell me about it. Went through a whole case of body filler on a Bronco floor pan once. The dust alone felt like a second job.

Wait, is it really that bad? I've seen people patch floor pans with just some scrap metal and it held up forever lol
