Insurance adjuster told me 40% of brake calipers get flagged for OEM tint blending, and that seems way off
I was at a shop in Mesa, AZ last Tuesday finishing a rear quarter respray when the adjuster mentioned that statistic. He said it came from a 2023 training doc, but when I asked for the source he just said "industry data." I've done maybe 60 caliper jobs in 3 years and I've never blended OEM tint once. Has anyone else heard this number, or is this guy just trying to pad estimates?
