I went with the off-brand filler on a 2015 Civic quarter panel repair to save $40.
It feathered out fine, but the primer showed a slight texture difference that added an hour of blocking. Anyone have a budget filler that truly matches up?

Classic case of the cheap part tax. You save a little up front, then pay for it later in extra labor. Happens with so many things.

That $40 savings on filler easily cost you over an hour of sanding, same story with cheap paint or primer.
