Can we talk about how fast everyone pushes a full repaint on small scratches?
I was at a training day in Columbus last month and a guy near me kept saying any scratch through the clear means the whole panel has to be sprayed. I've been doing this 11 years and that's just not how it has to go. Last week I buffed and touched up a door on a 2017 Civic for $140 and the customer couldn't find the spot when I handed him the keys. Full respray on that door would've run him $600 plus two days in the booth for damage you had to squint at. How many of you actually try a polish and fill first before you quote a full panel?
