Why does every Atlanta local chat group turn into a food delivery complaint thread?
I joined three different Atlanta local chat groups over the past six months, and within two weeks every single one turned into people fighting about DoorDash drivers and cold wings. It's like nobody wants to talk about actual neighborhood stuff anymore, like the new bike lane on Peachtree or the MARTA schedule changes, because someone always has to bring up a $40 delivery order that showed up soggy. Last Tuesday I asked a simple question about a good mechanic in Decatur and got nine replies about how someone's Uber Eats driver took the wrong exit. That's not a local chat, that's just a complaint hotline with extra steps. Can we please get back to talking about the city itself, or am I the odd one out here?
