The 285 express lane math that broke my commute debate
I used to swear taking 285 east to 400 in the morning was faster, but after tracking 12 trips in 3 weeks I found the express lane exit at Chamblee Dunwoody cost me $4.50 and saved maybe 6 minutes. My coworker says the toll is worth it for the stress drop alone, but I think sitting in the regular lane gives you time to finish podcasts and actually think. Which side are you on: pay for the bypass or grind it out with the free crawl?
