My neighbor told me to skip the line at Fox Bros by going on a Tuesday

He said the wait is way shorter after 8 pm on weeknights, so I tried it last week. We got a table in like 15 minutes when it's usually an hour plus on weekends. Has anyone else found a good trick for getting into other popular spots without the crazy wait?

Can't believe you got into Fox Bros that fast on any night.

Honestly waiting over an hour for barbecue seems a bit much to me. Good to know the Tuesday trick works though, even if @xena_rivera63 is shocked. Most places are dead on a random weeknight after the dinner rush. You just have to be okay with eating late, which isn't for everyone.

Huh, I'm not so sure about that "dead on a random weeknight" thing, @xena_rivera63. Fox Bros is always a zoo, even on a Tuesday at 9pm. I tried that once and still waited 45 minutes. You might have gotten lucky or they had a slow night because of bad weather or something. But I agree the hour wait for barbecue is rough - I usually just grab a sandwich to go or head somewhere with shorter lines if I'm not feeling patient.
