I stopped going to that Kroger on Ponce after the parking lot fiasco
I used to think everyone exaggerating about that Kroger was just being dramatic. Then last Tuesday around 5pm I watched three cars nearly hit each other trying to get the same spot near the entrance. One lady just gave up and parked across two spaces in the back. I spent 15 minutes circling before I left and went to the Publix on Briarcliff instead. Has anyone else just completely written off one grocery store in Atlanta and never looked back?

Publix on Briarcliff was my save too, honestly. After that mess at Ponce Kroger I just couldn't go back. The parking situation there is like a demolition derby with grocery carts. I started going to the Fresh Market on Lavista when I want something nice and quick. They have a tiny lot but it moves fast and nobody acts like they're fighting for the last spot on earth. Some stores just aren't worth the headache, you know? There's always another one a few miles away that won't make you want to quit shopping forever.

...and that's exactly how it goes down. I had basically the same thing happen at the Kroger on Glenwood. Tried to go there once for a quick shop after work, ended up sitting in a line of cars waiting for someone to pull out. Gave up after ten minutes and drove to the Publix on Memorial instead. Never been back since. It's not worth the stress, you know? Once you find your spot that works, you just stick with it.

Right? The ten minute wait for a spot is exactly what got me too. I had the same thing at the Kroger on Buford Highway a few months ago. Sat there watching three different people circle like vultures, finally gave up and went to the little Mexican market on the corner. Never looked back.
