Heard a guy at the Ponce City Market food hall say 'the real Atlanta is in the comments section' and it got me thinking.
I used to think local forums were just for complaining, but after seeing how fast people organized a cleanup for the BeltLine after that storm last month, I get it now, so what's the best local group you've found for actually getting stuff done?

Check the Nextdoor app for your neighborhood, it's surprisingly good for local action.

My neighbor @david_henderson6 actually found someone's lost cat through Nextdoor in like 2 hours, which was impressive considering the cat had been gone for three days. Makes me wonder if those apps work better for missing pets than they do for finding a decent plumber.
