Had a guy at the Ace Hardware on Ponce explain why my mulch was molding
He pointed at my bag and said 'you're using the dyed stuff, that's why it clumps up in the rain'. Has anyone else had better luck with plain cedar or pine bark?

The dyed stuff is basically just colored wood chips, plain cedar holds up way better in humidity.

Whoa wait, the guy at Ace actually knew what he was talking about? That's wild. I always figured the dyed stuff was fine but now I'm rethinking my whole mulch game.
