Read an article once about how astronauts have a hard time readjusting to life on Earth because everything feels too planned and sterile compared to the chaos of space. Sounds a bit like what @harper_murphy was getting at with that apartment story. Sometimes when something looks too clean or too calculated, it makes you wonder what's being hidden underneath. A little bit of mess or imperfection can actually make a photo or a person feel more trustworthy.

Yeah, my buddy dated someone like that. She had this spotless apartment, always said the right thing, never got mad. He said it felt like dating a movie character, not a real person. Broke it off because he couldn't relax, always felt like he was being graded.
