I visited the McDonald Observatory last weekend and something felt off about their night sky photos

I drove out to the McDonald Observatory in West Texas last Saturday for their public viewing night, but every astro photo they displayed in the visitor center looked way too processed and fake. The colors on those nebula shots were cranked up so high they looked like cartoons instead of real space. Am I the only one who thinks observatories should show raw or minimally edited images to keep things honest? Please share your experience.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing there, their photos always look way oversaturated to me too.

Totally agree, they look fake half the time.
