A client asked if the Andromeda Galaxy in my photo was a drone light show

I was showing off some space pictures I took from my yard to a landscaping client. They kept saying it looked like a fancy drone show and asked for my rates to set one up. What's the silliest thing someone has thought your astronomy photos were?

Had someone swear my satellite trails were government lasers.

Makes you wonder why they'd use such predictable, trackable lasers. Half the fun of secret weapons is them being secret.

It's always funny what people come up with... I get why folks see secrets in the sky, but most of the time it's just normal stuff up there. @veraf75 having their satellite pics called government lasers fits that perfectly. People have wild ideas... they see a story instead of the science. The Andromeda Galaxy as a paid drone show might be my new favorite though.
