Why does the airport in Denver have those glass walkway tunnels that lead nowhere?
I flew into DEN last weekend for a layover and noticed three of those moving walkway tunnels just sitting there, not connected to anything on one end. One even had a sign saying it was closed for maintenance but people were still walking through it to get to a dead end. Is there some plan to extend them or are they just permanent architectural jokes? Has anyone else seen these and wondered what the story is?
