Update: My entire garden got flattened by a hailstorm on Tuesday

I went outside after the storm passed and every single tomato plant was shredded. The hail was about the size of marbles and it only lasted maybe ten minutes. I had been nursing those seedlings since March. Has anyone else had to start a vegetable garden over this late in the summer?

Ugh, that's so brutal. @nathan289 knows the pain, my one attempt at a garden looked like a salad bar after a tornado.

Read an article about nurseries selling "second wave" seedlings for exactly this kind of damage. Might be worth checking if any local places still have tomato plants. Starting over now is a real pain but maybe not impossible.

Yeah, shredded tomatoes are the worst, my peppers got wrecked last month.
