Took me 4 months to figure out a leak in my own truck
I mean, I run a tree service and I've patched hydraulic lines blindfolded, but my own F-250 had this slow drip under the cab that drove me nuts. I replaced the fuel filter housing seals twice, checked the return lines, even dropped the spare tire thinking it was rain water. Turns out it was the cab vent grommet on the passenger side letting water run down the inner panel, and it only showed up when I parked nose down on an incline. Has anyone else chased a phantom leak for way too long and found it was something dumb like that?
