Shoutout to the guy at the dog park who told me about carabiners

I had to choose between a new leash setup and keeping my old one that kept slipping. He just said clip a carabiner through the loop and onto the handle to stop the slide. Tried it with a $3 one from Home Depot and it worked perfect. Anyone else get random advice from strangers that actually stuck?
