Pro tip: I thought those 'ask me anything' threads were just for celebs until I tried one for my small business.

Ran a 24-hour AMA on Reddit last month and got 3 solid client leads from it. Anyone else had a surprise win with a format they initially doubted?

Actually AMA threads started on forums like Reddit for regular users, not celebrities. The celeb takeover came way later. Still, awesome it worked for your business.

Yeah the celeb takeover part is so true. My buddy ran a small bike shop and did a local AMA on Nextdoor, ended up selling three custom builds that week just from answering questions.

Oh for SURE, @hugow30 your buddy's experience is spot on! I did a local AMA on Nextdoor about general home maintenance and ended up booking three new clients for my pest control company just from people asking random questions.
