Walked into a Blick art store in Chicago last weekend and found a whole bin of nearly full paint tubes marked down to 75 cents each

I grabbed like 15 of them in different colors, three were even Winsor & Newton brand which is normally crazy expensive. Has anyone else stumbled on a clearance section like that or was I just lucky?

That kind of clearance score is rare but it does pop up when stores clear out old stock or returns. It makes you wonder how much perfectly good art supplies end up wasted just because they're not the newest or trendiest brand. Have you checked out any other art stores around town for similar deals?

Honestly used to think clearance bins were just junk nobody wanted, but picking up some really great quality paints that way changed my mind completely. Getting a top brand for next to nothing because the packaging got a little dented still works the same for my art. Makes me wonder if I've been missing out on other store clearouts for ages.
