The old painter who said store brushes tip-up was right all along
Back in 2018 a guy named Bill at the Portland art supply shop told me to never let my brushes sit tip-down in water. I thought he was just being fussy until I pulled out a 3 year old flat brush last month that still has a perfect edge. The ones I stored tip-down in a jar are all splayed out and worthless now. Anyone else have a simple trick they ignored until it cost them brushes?

Oh man, I feel your pain... I left brushes soaking overnight and found a moldy mess.
