Those old tubes are worth grabbing every time, even the dead ones, because the caps alone can save you a fortune down the road. I hit a garage sale last summer and walked away with a whole box of pulls for five bucks, and half the caps tested better than the new ones I had at home. Keep that lady's advice close, it pays off more than people realize.
