Gave away a whole set of half-used oil paints on here 3 months ago, now I'm kicking myself because I picked up painting again.

Does anyone else ever clear out supplies thinking you're done with a medium, only to circle right back and have to rebuy everything from scratch?

Honestly, I kept a small box of my favorite brushes and a tube of burnt umber when I swore off watercolors. Three years later, that tiny stash was my lifeline. Had to buy new paper and a few fresh tubes, but I didn't have to start completely from scratch. Maybe stash just one or two key items next time, it makes the comeback way cheaper and less painful. Tbh, the red and yellow I tossed still hurt to repurchase.

Wait, you really think burning bridges helps? I always keep everything just in case.
