Why does nobody talk about the snack plate scene at the gas station off I-80 in Sparks, Nevada
Pulled off I-80 in Sparks for gas and walked in to find a full snack plate setup by the register. Not just jerky and chips, but actual cubed cheddar, salami rounds, grapes, and a little cup of honey mustard for $6.99. The lady working there said the owner started doing it two years ago because truckers kept asking for something they could eat with one hand. I stood there for five minutes just looking at it. Has anyone else run into a random spot like this that puts way more care into a snack plate than it needs to?
Honestly a $6.99 snack plate with actual cubed cheddar and honey mustard has no business being that fancy for a gas station off I-80. The owner did that because truckers wanted one hand food and now it's probably the best thing in Sparks. I'd pull over just for that.
