Tried a meat board instead of a cheese board last weekend and wow
Honestly, I used to just pile on cheddar and crackers, but last Saturday I swapped half the cheese for sliced salami, prosciutto, and some spicy capicola. The saltiness paired way better with the grapes and honey I had out. My guests actually finished everything instead of leaving half the cheese to dry out. Has anyone else tried going heavy on cured meats over cheese?

Honestly I always thought meat boards were overkill but now I get it, the salt cuts through the fruit way better.

Yeah I was the same way until I threw some prosciutto next to some figs with a little flaky salt. Total game changer, now I can't go back to plain cheese plates.
