That $16 jar of fancy fig jam I bought last week was a total game changer for my cheese plate
I spread it on a simple cracker with some sharp cheddar and it totally saved my boring snack plate, has anyone else found a random ingredient that just makes everything better?

Oh man, that sounds amazing. I just tried a spoonful of balsamic glaze on vanilla ice cream and it was weirdly perfect. The sweet and sour just works. Also those little jars of fancy jam are dangerous, I’ll eat half of it straight from the jar before it even hits a cracker.

Oh man, I bought a jar of truffle honey on a whim and now I drizzle it on everything from pizza to scrambled eggs. My fridge is a graveyard of half-used fancy condiments that seemed like a good idea at the time.
