Soft cheese on top or bottom of the cracker? My mom says it matters, my sister says she's wrong
Last Sunday at my aunt's place in Columbus, my mom stacked brie on top of a cracker with a slice of apple on top. My sister flipped it, putting the apple on the bottom and cheese on top. Mom said the cheese should sit against the cracker so it melts into it. My sister said that makes the cracker soggy, so fruit should stay on the bottom as a barrier. They argued for a good 10 minutes during the whole game. I've always just thrown it all together without thinking. Do you stack in a certain order, or is this just fussy family drama? What does your snack plate look like, layered or just tossed on?
