The museum guard's tip about standing at an angle saved my whole visit
I spent 40 minutes at the Field Museum in Chicago squinting at a Roman coin display behind glass, and the glare made the inscription impossible to read. A guard named Ray walked over and told me to stand at a 45 degree angle and cup my hands around my eyes, and the letters popped out like they were lit up. Does anyone know if that angle trick works on other reflective cases, or was Ray just messing with me?
