Shoutout to the museum label that corrected my 20 year old belief
I read a label at the Field Museum in Chicago that said the "Clovis first" idea was basically dead by 2010. I had learned it in high school and never questioned it for over 20 years. That one small sign made me realize how much archaeology changes just from new digs like the one at Monte Verde. Has anyone else had a textbook fact overturned by a simple exhibit placard?
