Shoutout to hitting 100 arrowheads found on my family's farm
Honestly, I've been out walking the same 40 acres my grandpa worked for like 6 years now, just looking for stuff after the plow goes through. Last Sunday I pulled up this little quartz point from a freshly turned furrow, and when I got home I counted everything I've got in my display box. Turns out I hit exactly 100 arrowheads and stone tools since I started. I didn't keep any of the broken pieces or flakes, just the complete or near-complete stuff, so that number felt huge to me. It matters because my dad always said there wasn't anything out there worth finding, but now I've got a whole box of proof that people lived and worked on this land for thousands of years before we got here. The quartz one I found last week is almost see-through and it's the prettiest one yet, makes me wonder what else is still buried under my feet. Has anyone else hit a surprise milestone like that on a property they thought they knew?

You gotta mark those spots on a map or GPS when you find them, trust me. After about 50 I started noticing patterns in where the good stuff turned up, old creek beds and high ground near water sources. That clear quartz means somebody carried that thing a long way or traded for it, so the spot you found it probably has more.
