Question about my metal detector mishap

I started using my metal detector for every little thing at digs. Last week, it kept beeping at my belt buckle, wasting an hour. But by accident, I found a hidden stash of Roman nails nearby. So my silly habit turned out okay.

That belt buckle has been fooling me for years, @elliot_lee. My repair skills are mostly just stubbornness mixed with luck. Your comment pretty much sums up my whole home improvement style.
