Pyramid blocks were cut with copper, not some mystery tech
I keep seeing posts saying the Egyptians had lost tech to cut granite. Simple fact: copper saws with abrasive sand do it. I tried it myself on a small scale, took 40 minutes to cut a line 2 inches deep in a scrap slab from a quarry near Aswan. The marks on old blocks match that grit pattern exactly. Has anyone else tested this or just read the same recycled theory?

Watched my buddy try this in his garage and his copper blade wore out before the slab even showed a scratch.
