That $300 tree injection kit I bought was a total scam

Spent $300 on a hypodermic injection kit for treating my oaks with fungicide. Followed every step for 3 straight trees. None of them showed any improvement after 8 months. Called the company and they said I must have drilled at the wrong angle. No refund. Stick with soil drenching, it's cheaper and actually works. Has anyone else had better luck with trunk injections or am I just cursed?

Drilled at the WRONG angle? That's such a cop-out answer. I tried trunk injections twice with no luck either, total waste of money. Soil drench has been the only thing that's actually worked for me.

@ruby561 You gotta give it more than 8 months, trees heal way slower than that.
