My blind spot was thinking my trees were fine because they looked healthy, but that white oak limb snapped clean off with zero warning. Now I'm checking every cable connection twice a year and marking weak spots on a simple sketch of my yard. Better to feel paranoid for a few hours than get woken up by a limb through the roof.
