Appreciation post: switching from a hand saw to a silky saw on removals

I used to fight through big limbs with a basic bow saw for years... Last month I finally grabbed a Silky Zubat on a recommendation from a guy at the local supply shop. The difference is wild - it cuts through a 12 inch limb in like 10 seconds compared to almost a minute with the old saw. My arms are way less tired at the end of a day, and I'm not wrestling with bind-ups as much. Have any of you made a similar upgrade that saved your shoulders?

Honestly, I've had the opposite experience with mine.

Yeah, I mean... "opposite experience" can mean a lot of things though, right? Like is it really that big of a deal? I feel like sometimes people get really worked up over small stuff that doesn't actually change much in the long run. Not saying you're wrong or anything, maybe it was a big difference for you. But I honestly have trouble believing a product or whatever can be that drastically different for two people, unless it's something really basic or broken. Idk, maybe I'm just not that picky about these things.

Figure out what you actually mean by "opposite." If your product just straight up doesn't work the same as mine, that's a factory defect, not a normal variation. I'm not buying that two units from the same batch act totally different unless something's broken. People throw around "opposite experience" to cover anything from minor annoyance to total failure. If yours is actually defective, that's one thing. But if it's just slightly different, that's not really opposite, that's just normal people having normal preferences.
