Why does nobody talk about the parts guy in Toledo who showed me the water heater trick
Was at a supply counter in Toledo about 6 months ago and the guy behind the desk watched me grab a dip tube and just said "check the anode first, always." Did that on my next 4 calls and 3 of them didn't need a new tank at all, just a $22 rod, which saved those folks about $900 each. Anybody else got a counter guy whose 10 second tip ended up changing your whole diagnostic order?
